Radio Room Administrative Operator

Roles and responsibilities will include:

  • During emergencies, man the Emergency Control Centre (ECC) and maintain communications following Master/OIM instructions
  • General clerical and administrative work as required by Rig Management
  • Control of incoming and outgoing emails
  • Have a good working knowledge of the telephone switchboard
  • Have a good working knowledge of computers
  • Maintain a log of hours worked by all personnel onboard
  • Qualification and Experience:

  • CAA for vessels working in UK
  • Good knowledge of computer programs (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) CHF/UHF
  • Previous offshore administration experience
  • Steward

    Roles and responsibilities will include:

  • To carry out all relevant tasks detailed in work schedules as directed by Unit Manager, leading Steward, Head Chef and Night-Cook-Baker
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment within the laundry, accommodation and galley by ensuring adherence to all client and regulatory safety and environmental standards, and do not endanger yourself or any other person
  • Complete day-day housekeeping arrangements and schedules as detailed by Unit Manager, Leading Steward, Head Chef or Night- Cook- Baker to meet client requirements while ensuring good working relationship
  • Ensure correct cleaning methods are adopted utilizing agreed chemicals
  • Ensure you use all appropriate PPE when using cleaning chemicals
  • Operate and comply with the SMS Management system in accordance with Quality Policy
  • Work as part of the accommodation/ gallery crew in maintaining the agreed service level of the unit
  • Work as part of the support within the mess, galley, or accommodation during busy periods as agreed with Unit Manager, leading Steward, Head Chef or Night- Cook- Baker
  • Carry out any other reasonable task as requested by Unit Manager, leading Steward, Head Chef or Night–Cook- Baker
  • Ensure all relevant information is passed across the shift and that all safety or non- compliance issues are discussed and actions identified
  • Qualification and Experience:

  • Food Hygiene Handling Certificate
  • Previous Experience within a similar role
  • Painter

    Roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Perform maintenance to rig steelwork structure and apply paint systems as directed by the Barge Master
  • Responsible for the correct storage and proper stock control of the paint inventory
  • Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of paint spraying equipment
  • Assist with general rig cleaning duties as required by the Barge Master or their Deputy
  • Work within all departments onboard as directed by Barge Master or their Deputy
  • Whilst carrying out duties as a watch keeper, shall undertake the routines concerned with cleanliness of specified area, maintain a fire watch, keep in constant communication with the Bridge, and perform bridge lookout or other duties as specified by the OOW
  • While conducting watch keeping duties as per OOW instructions, report any navigational hazards identified using standard Maritime Communication Phrases
  • Be familiar with ships security plan and designated duties
  • Conduct security related rounds and watches, such as a gangway watch or anchor watch as designated by Barge Master or their Deputy
  • Perform Emergency duties as per Emergency Station Bill
  • Perform maintenance duties as on emergency, lifesaving, firefighting and damage control systems as required
  • Be competent in the use of emergency lifesaving, firefighting and damage control safety equipment in particular lifeboats and life rafts
  • Ensure familiarity with vessels mooring and anchor system and its uses during mooring and anchoring operations
  • Shall be part of the mooring stations party, assisting with the safe rigging of gangways and pilot ladder as required
  • Qualification and Experience:

    Relevant Offshore Certification (STCW II/4 AB Certification)
  • Previous suitable experience as a painter offshore
  • Knowledge in paint application and spraying
  • OILER
