We are currently looking for an Able Bodied Seaman (AB) to join our team.
The AB is responsible for performing general marine cleaning and maintenance tasks, assisting with navigational watchkeeping duties, and carrying out manual labor as required to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
Responsibilities
- Assist with cargo handling, lifting operations, and crane signaling.
- Maintain decks, vessel equipment, and storage areas.
- Support machinery care, painting, and general upkeep.
- Ensure safety at all times, report hazards, and participate in emergency drills.
- Perform navigational watch and other general duties.
- Help with assembling/dismantling deck machinery and marine gear.
- Operate hoists and cargo handling equipment for heavy lifts.
- Attend safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement.
Must Have
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 180 days sea time.
- Valid STCW 95 Unlimited AB Certificate with relevant Flag State Endorsement.
- STCW 95 Proficiency in Survival Craft Certificate.
- Valid Passport.
- MLC 2006 approved medical (NMA, ENG1).
- Current vaccinations: Yellow Fever, Polio, Tetanus, Diphtheria, Hepatitis A & B.
- TBOSIET (Tropical Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training).
