The Coiled Tubing Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, testing, rigging up, and rigging down coiled tubing equipment while supporting offshore well intervention operations. The role ensures equipment is operated safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate Coiled Tubing equipment during offshore operations.
- Perform rig-up, rig-down, inspection, maintenance, and function testing of CT equipment.
- Operate Coiled Tubing Lifting Frames safely and efficiently.
- Support well intervention operations in accordance with approved procedures.
- Assist with troubleshooting equipment during operations.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and operational procedures.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and securing equipment.
- Work closely with the CT Supervisor and Pump Operator during operations.
- Complete operational documentation and equipment checklists.
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and emergency drills.
Must Have
- Minimum five (5) years' offshore Coiled Tubing experience.
- Experience operating 125K and 95K Coiled Tubing equipment.
- Experience operating Coiled Tubing Lifting Frames.
- Completion of CT Operator Competencies or equivalent industry certification.
- OPITO HUET certification.
- CA-EBS certification.
- Fluent in English.
