Offshore cooks are required to prepare meals on vessels for crew and follow food, health, and safety procedures.
Main purpose:
Responsible for preparing all meals and desserts for the entire rig crew and informing the Camp Boss of food stock inventory.
Must be able to follow the menu provided or prepare menu
Keep inventory of food items. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate must possess the following:
- Valid Seaman’s Book
- Valid Passport
Valid STCW and Security Awareness Certificates
- Valid Food Handlers Certificate
- Valid Certificate of Competence
- Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A and Typhoid Vaccines
- Minimum of Two (2) years’ experience offshore as a cook
