Job Summary

The Custodian is responsible for performing cleaning, sanitation, and general domestic duties to maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the company. This role ensures all facilities are well-maintained, safe, and presentable.

Key Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, rake, vacuum, and wash designated areas as required.

Clean, sanitize, and restock offices, bathrooms, and common areas according to the Facilities Checklist.

Sanitize interior and exterior high-touch surfaces.

Clean windows, glass, appliances, whiteboards, office equipment, and furnishings.

Remove garbage, manage recycling (weighing and recording), and maintain building surroundings.

Water vegetation and assist with basic grounds maintenance.

Support the Facilities Team Lead with installations (e.g., whiteboards, paper towel and toilet paper dispensers).

Conduct inventory checks for HSSEQ/Facilities supplies, groceries, toiletries, linens, and other assigned items.

Clean and replace linens at apartments/residences and wash dishes as needed.

Purchase grocery items and fruits when required.

Replace bulbs and report defective tools, equipment, or unsafe conditions.

Perform any other related duties assigned.

Requirements

Five (5) CSEC subjects including Mathematics and English.

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar custodial or general maintenance role.

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to perform manual labor and follow all HSSEQ policies and safety procedures.
