We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the vessel’s electrical, electronic, automation, and control systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of onboard equipment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot vessel electrical, electronic and automation systems.
- Perform planned and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and control systems.
- Support the maintenance and operational readiness of DP-related electrical and electronic systems.
- Diagnose electrical faults and assist in minimizing equipment downtime.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with vessel safety procedures, maritime regulations and company standards.
Must Have
- Valid Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) Certificate of Competency – STCW III/6.
- Relevant sea-going experience in an ETO capacity; experience on similar offshore/support vessels preferred.
- Valid STCW certification.
- Valid TBOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS, as applicable.
- Valid Offshore/Seafarer Medical Certificate.
- Valid Seaman's/Marine Discharge Book.
- Valid passport and applicable seafarer documentation.
- Good written and spoken English proficiency.
- Current DP Maintenance Course/Certification is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of vessel electrical, electronic, automation and control systems.
