We are currently seeking an experienced Fabricator to fabricate, assemble, and modify sheet metal components for industrial insulation systems.
The successful candidate will take accurate field measurements, produce quality-fitted components, work closely with insulation crews, and maintain safe and efficient work areas. To be successful, you will have solid solving problem skills.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate sheet metal components for industrial insulation systems.
- Take accurate field measurements.
- Cut, bend, roll, form and assemble sheet metal.
- Fabricate covers, bands, flashings, elbows, fittings and other insulation components.
- Modify and repair existing sheet metal jacketing.
- Work closely with insulation and sheet metal crews.
- Inspect completed fabrication and correct deficiencies.
- Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in safe condition.
Must Have
- A minimum of three (3) years experience in industrial fabrication.
- Experience in insulation-related fabrication is strongly preferred.
- Previous shutdown/turnaround/outage experience is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret drawings and field measurements.
- Competent use of fabrication tools and equipment.
- PLEA Certification.
- Valid medical fitness certificate and 7-point drug screening.
