Ideally, suitable applicants should have experience working within a similar position. Their responsibilities would include; cleaning and painting of equipment, cleaning up drill sites and equipment, transporting and storing of work materials, installation of equipment, and maintenance of drilling and extraction tools.

Main Purpose:

• Responsible for pipe handling, casing and drilling equipment on the drill floor as well as carrying out maintenance on the equipment.

• Makes and breaks rotary connections using rig tongs, handles tubular goods, elevators, and slips, and operates semi-automated pipe-handling machines.

• Participates in the daily cleaning, housekeeping and maintenance work on the drill floor and in the shale shaker room. 
  

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Basic Safety Training

• Security Awareness

• AB Book /License

• Deck Rating 11/4

• Navigational Watchkeeping 11/4

• One (1) years’ experience
