We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Driver/Operator to safely operate and transport heavy equipment in support of industrial activities.
The successful candidate will ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently, conduct daily inspections, comply with site HSE requirements, and support material handling and general site operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport personnel, materials, tools and equipment.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections.
- Ensure loads are properly secured.
- Comply with site traffic rules and applicable road regulations.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and good operating condition.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, spills and unsafe conditions.
- Support the work crew with transportation and logistical requirements.
- Operate specialized equipment only where appropriately certified and authorized.
Must Have
- A valid Class 4 or Class 5 Driver’s Licence, as applicable.
- Valid and current Crane Operator and/or Forklift Operator certification, where applicable.
- Proven commercial or industrial driving/operator experience.
- Previous industrial site experience is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of equipment, vehicle safety, and safe operating practices.
- PLEA Certification.
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
- Valid 7-Point Drug Screening.
