To effectively deliver both theoretical and practical training elements. Instructors will also provide assistance for all practical and maintenance activities while ensuring the safety and welfare of themselves and others at all times.
Responsibilities
- 1. Routinely liaise with Operations Supervisor to execute day-to-day activities efficiently,
effectively and professionally. - 2. Deliver training in compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.
- 3. Safeguard the health, safety and welfare of all parties during training activities by ensuring everyone follows RON’s Safe Systems of Work.
- 4. Maintain the Quality Assurance system (documents and records) relevant to job function and ensure the same is done by members of the training team.
- 5. Where relevant, assist in the training and development of staff; and to undertake additional/ongoing training/assessments as directed by Company, to ensure necessary
competencies are maintained. - 6. Take personal ownership of upholding one’s competence levels.
- 7. Contribute to the review/design and development of current and new courses.
- 8. When required, ensure a high operational readiness of all equipment is sustained, including conduction of appropriate safety checks and maintenance.
- 9. Contribute to a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness throughout the entire establishment.
- 10. Contribute to Operations Meetings and support with improvement initiatives.
- 11. Handle all other duties as may be assigned by the Country Manager and the Managing Director from time to time.
- 12. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
- 13. Ensure all activities are concluded in compliance with Group and Company HSEQ requirements.
Must Have
- Certification & Competencies:
• Internationally recognized HSEQ qualifications. - • NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH or ISO Certification
- • Technical qualifications in Lifting Operations, Construction, Firefighting, Maritime or Aviation.
- • Proficiency in swimming, SCUBA or Lifesaving
- Experience:
One or more of the following will be considered an asset: - • Experience in lecturing or teaching.
- • Previous role/s in Health Safety and Environmental or Quality.
- • Previous role/s in Lifting Operations, Construction, Firefighting, Maritime or Aviation.
