We are currently seeking an experienced Insulation, Fabrication & Sheet Metal Supervisor to lead and coordinate site activities, manage manpower, monitor work progress and quality, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved procedures and client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate insulation, fabrication, sheet metal and general support activities.
- Allocate manpower and monitor daily work progress.
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with approved work procedures, permits and JSA/JHA requirements.
- Lead daily toolbox meetings and promote safe work practices.
- Monitor quality and productivity of the work crew.
- Coordinate inspections and communicate work requirements to management/client representatives.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, waste disposal and protection of plant equipment.
- Identify additional work requirements and report them for approval before proceeding.
Must Have
- A minimum of five (5) yearsof supervisory experience in industrial insulation work.
- Previous shutdown, turnaround or outage experience.
- Strong knowledge of insulation and sheet metal activities.
- Demonstrated HSE leadership.
- Ability to read drawings and work instructions.
- PLEA Certification.
- Valid medical fitness certificate and 7-point drug screening.
- Excellent communication and team-management skills.
