Offshore Inventory Relabeling Assistant

The Offshore Inventory Relabeling Assistant will support inventory control activities by removing damaged, outdated, or obsolete labels and applying new labels to materials stored offshore. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely within a warehouse, inventory, logistics, or offshore environment.
The successful candidate will assist with maintaining accurate material identification, reporting inventory discrepancies, updating records, and ensuring the work area remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and remove damaged, illegible, outdated, or obsolete labels from inventory materials.
  • Print and apply new labels to materials based on the designated inventory location and identification requirements.
  • Verify material descriptions, identification numbers, quantities, and storage locations before applying labels.
  • Report damaged materials, incorrect information, missing items, or other inventory discrepancies to the relevant supervisor.
  • Assist with updating inventory records, spreadsheets, databases, or inventory management systems as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed relabeling activities.
  • Ensure labels are clearly visible, securely attached, and correctly positioned.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Follow all offshore safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and company policies.
  • Use personal protective equipment correctly and participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.
  • Support general warehouse and inventory activities when required.

Must Have

  • Minimum of one year’s experience in a warehouse, inventory, logistics, materials management, or offshore environment.
  • Valid THUET or HUET certification with valid CA-EBS certification.
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to enter and update inventory information.
  • Basic organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret material descriptions, identification numbers, and inventory locations.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in an offshore environment.
  • Willingness and availability to work offshore on an assigned schedule.
