We are currently seeking an Oiler-Motorman to support maintenance and repairs of power plant systems, dynamic positioning machinery, and living quarters equipment.
Duties include daily engine room rounds, logbook updates, and watchkeeping to ensure safe, efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems including power plant, DP equipment, ballast/bilge, HVAC, boilers, compressed air, safety systems, lifeboats, and living quarters.
- Prioritize tasks on safety and environmental critical equipment using VAMS.
- Ensure compliance with Performance Standards, safety case requirements, and assurance activities in VAMS.
- Maintain clean and safe engine rooms and emergency exits to company standards.
- Record equipment readings, report technical issues to senior engineers, and communicate work status at shift end.
- Keep workshop tools and equipment in top safety condition.
Must Have
- Minimum of two (2) years in this position.
- Demonstrated ability in oral and written communication.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid USCG Oiler or Motorman with STCW III/4 or III/5 on MMC.
- Completion of all mandatory training and certification requirements.
- Valid Passport.
- MLC2006 approved medical (NMA, ENG1).
- Current vaccinations: Yellow Fever, Polio, Tetanus, Diphtheria, Hepatitis A & B.
- TBOSIET certification.
