Operations Support Engineer

Key Activities and Accountabilities 


• Liaise with operational supervisors to understand activity levels and equipment needs, 
ensuring appropriate resource allocation. 
• Attend regular operational meetings to discuss base issues and share updates on policies, 
organizational changes, future plans, technology developments, and safety matters. 
• Ensure all incidents are properly recorded, reported, and investigated to identify and 
address root causes. 
• Confirm that all equipment, plant, and materials are suitable for use, properly maintained, 
and serviced regularly. 
• Adhere to the company’s Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies; report any potential 
violations or conflicts of interest. 
• Ensure compliance with Quality policies, procedures, and systems; actively participate in 
continuous improvement processes. 
• Plan, document, and direct the application, modification, testing, and installation of 
equipment, machines, and processes to meet company or client requirements, including 
deep-water operations. 
• Support the full project lifecycle—from tendering, rig surveys, technical 
proposals/presentations, to installation and initial execution. 
• Provide technical support to Sales, Operations, Contracts, Technical Support, and 
Business Development teams. 
• Respond to operational and customer-driven requests with timely technical support. 
• Generate written equipment running procedures and operational sequence drawings. 
• Design and modify equipment for job-specific or client-specific applications. 
• Serve as a direct point of contact for operations to coordinate and fulfill requests for 
specialized equipment sub-assemblies. 


Job Knowledge and Qualifications 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field. 
• 1–4 years’ experience in operations support, engineering, or a similar technical role. 
• Strong skills in technical drawings and interpreting engineering schematics. 
• Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD experience preferred. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
