We are currently seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to fabricate, install, remove, modify, and repair sheet metal jacketing for industrial insulation systems.
The successful candidate will work from drawings and field measurements, safely use hand and power tools, and maintain high standards of workmanship and housekeeping.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, install, remove, modify and repair sheet metal jacketing associated with industrial insulation systems.
- Measure, cut, bend and form sheet metal to required dimensions.
- Install sheet metal around piping, equipment, vessels and other insulated components.
- Produce properly fitted seams, joints, overlaps and closures.
- Work from drawings, measurements and field dimensions.
- Use hand and power tools safely.
- Assist with removal and reinstatement of insulation systems.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workmanship.
Must Have
- Three years of experience as a Sheet Metal Worker.
- Industrial insulation experience is strongly preferred.
- Previous plant shutdown/turnaround experience is an advantage.
- Ability to read drawings and take field measurements.
- Competent use of sheet metal hand and power tools.
- PLEA Certification.
- Valid medical fitness certificate and 7-point drug screening.
