The Stimulation Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading offshore stimulation operations, including acid and non-acid treatments.
The role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant execution of well stimulation activities while supervising frontline personnel, managing operational resources, and delivering services in accordance with approved job designs, client requirements, and company HSE standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise offshore stimulation crews during acid and non-acid well stimulation operations.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute stimulation jobs in accordance with approved job designs and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Company, Client, and regulatory HSE requirements.
- Conduct pre-job planning meetings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
- Supervise rig-up, rig-down, pressure testing, and operation of pumping and stimulation equipment.
- Coordinate personnel, equipment, chemicals, and logistics required for each operation.
- Monitor job performance and implement corrective actions when required.
- Ensure offshore stimulation skids and pumping systems are safely rigged up on vessels and offshore rigs.
- Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting during stimulation operations.
- Prepare and review operational reports, service documentation, and post-job evaluations.
- Mentor and develop Service Operators and Operator Assistants.
- Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Must Have
- Minimum seven (7) years' experience as a Stimulation Supervisor.
- Extensive offshore well stimulation experience.
- Proven experience supervising stimulation operations utilizing offshore pumping skids and vessel-based equipment.
- Completion of Stim Supervisor Competencies or equivalent industry certification.
- Valid IADC Well Control certification.
- OPITO HUET certification.
- CA-EBS certification.
- Fluent in English.
