COOK (Offshore)

 Offshore cooks are required to prepare meals on vessels for crew and follow food, health, and safety procedures.

Main purpose:

  • Responsible for preparing all meals and desserts for the entire rig crew and informing the Camp Boss of food stock inventory.

  • Must be able to follow the menu provided or prepare menu
    Keep inventory of food items. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

 

The successful candidate must possess the following:

 

  • Valid Seaman’s Book

  • Valid Passport

  •           Valid STCW and Security Awareness Certificates

  • Valid Food Handlers Certificate

  • Valid Certificate of Competence

  • Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A and Typhoid Vaccines

  • Minimum of Two (2) years’ experience offshore as a cook
