As a Cook, your role is instrumental in providing quality and safe food services to crew members, contributing to their overall well-being. You will be responsible for meal preparation, menu planning, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities


Prepare and cook meals to meet the dietary requirements and preferences of the crew members. Plan and execute daily menus, considering nutritional needs and diversity of dishes.


Maintain impeccable standards of food safety and sanitation. Monitor and document temperatures, storage, and handling of food items. Comply with all health and safety regulations.


Manage inventory and order food supplies as necessary. Ensure proper storage and rotation of food items to minimize spoilage and waste.


Maintain a clean and organized galley and dining area. Supervise and manage galley assistants.

Requirements


Proven experience as a Cook in a marine or offshore environment.

Relevant certifications or qualifications in culinary arts.

Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET)

Food Safety Certification

Cooking and Culinary Training

Hygiene and Sanitation Training
