Our client in Guyana, who works within the oil and gas industry, is searching for an HR Coordinator. As an HR Coordinator, he/she will play a vital role in providing comprehensive human resources support to various departments within the company. Reporting directly to the HR Advisor/HR Manager, also ensuring the smooth implementation and adherence to  company policies and procedures. Responsibilities will include assisting with HR projects, managing employee records, coordinating recruitment processes, and facilitating employee relations initiatives.


·        Collaborate with the HR Advisor/HR Manager to support HR operations and initiatives.

·        Assist in the implementation and enforcement of HR company policies and procedures.

·        Coordinate the full cycle of recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.

·        Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.

·        Support the performance management process, including assisting in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.

·        Provide guidance and assistance to employees on HR-related matters, ensuring a positive employee experience.

·        Assist with HR projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, training and development programs, and diversity and inclusion efforts.

·        Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in HR and make recommendations for process improvements.


·       Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

·       Minimum of 4 years of previous work experience in an HR environment.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

·       Familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS).

·       Strong knowledge of local labour laws and regulations.

·       Excellent communication and people skills.

·       Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.

·       Meticulous with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
