The HSSE Advisor is responsible for the development and implementation of HSSE plans, programs and initiatives as well as overseeing the Company's employee’s safety at work. The HSSE Advisor shall assist in the oversight over all operations ensuring that HSSE systems are maintained. It is the responsibility of the HSSE Advisor to assist in the coordination of the HSSE department activities ensuring that supervision, support, and guidance is provided to personnel within the department. Ensure compliance across all sectors of the organization to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
· BSc/BA in Occupational Health and Safety
· NEBOSH General Certification would be an asset.
· A minimum two (2) years’ experience in a similar position
· Experience in Warehousing and Construction would be an asset.
Proficient in Microsoft office suite
and functional HSE programs (LOTO, Incident investigation, HSE Audits, Risk
