International Mobility Functional Support Specialist

The International Mobility Functional Support Specialist is responsible for assisting employees, management, the local Human Resources team and external stakeholders by providing administrative and immigration support for all international mobility related matters.

Responsibilities

·        Analyze visa requirements and, in conjunction with the Immigration Offices (IND), optimize the choice of applicable visas according to SBM’s work force needs.

·        Review the completeness and accuracy of various forms and supporting documents that an applicant is required to present at the consulate during his/her immigrant visa interview.

·        Provide guidance to employees and business on the Visa requirements, status and compliance matters. Follow up with assignees and all third parties(vendors) involved in the process.

·        Assess the business needs and provide advice on the best assignment type, in line with rules and regulation.

·        Ensure proper mobilization/demobilization of employee.

·        Provide administration services for employees before and during their assignment.

·        Management of cost and budgetary allocations pertinent to IMS activities (housing, schooling, transportation etc.)

·        Tax residency control - Control assignees' residency as per local rules.

·        Supporting HR processes, documentation and controls, including updating necessary HRIS Systems and performing proper record keeping activities.


Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree in Tax/ Law/ Human Resources/Business Administration, or equivalent experience with Human Resources, Immigration, International Mobility.

·       Minimum three (3) years working experience within International Mobility or Immigration.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
