 The main duty of an offshore oiler is maintaining, cleaning and at times operating ship engine parts including blowers, compressors, motors, gears, ejectors, and other equipment. Also, responsible for operating the lubricant filtering and purifying equipment and keeping logs of the oiling.


The successful candidate must possess the following:

  • Valid Seaman’s Book

  •           Valid STCW and Security Awareness Certificates

  •          Valid Passport

  • Oiler License

  • Engine Watch Keeping Certificate

  • Valid Certificate of Competence

  • Yellow Fever Vaccine

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience offshore as an oiler
