Warehouse Coordinator

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the overall control and management of the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Overall management of the day-to-day functions of the warehouse in accordance with company and safety policies.
  • Responsible for all local and international deliveries (materials and equipment) into the warehouse – this includes line-item checks, physical item verification, etc.
  • Responsible for issuing receipt notices to the project team and performing goods receipts in the ERPS.
  • Responsible for making sure the stock management system is updated accurately and regularly.
  • Ensure that materials and equipment are delivered and stored in compliance with company and warehouse regulations.
  • Ensure materials and equipment received are in conformance with the Purchase Order.
  • Issue Overage, Shortage and/ or discrepancy reports where applicable and escalate these to the attention of the appropriate project management team.
  • Organize and coordinate weekly vessel load out process, including monitoring vessel load schedules, creating KABAL packages, reserving container units, coordinating container loading and delivery to wharf for dispatch to the FPSO.
  • Guarantee the equipment (containers, slings etc.) used to send items offshore are in correct conditions, and take any necessary corrective action.
  • Responsible for keeping updated and organized the records of all material control activities – including but not limited to: Manifests, Commercial invoices of received items, details of stock counts, etc.
  • Responsible for keeping the warehouse and the yard physically organized and clean.
  • Oversee third parties’ and vendors’ services at the warehouse.
  • Ensure stock counts are done in accordance with the company practice.
  • Coordinate material preservation efforts with third parties and Warehouse Manpower.
  • Prepare and coordinate packaging of items for export/ return to vendor premises.

  • BSc. or equivalent in Material Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
  • Minimum of Three (3) Years proven experience working in a similar role (Goods receiving / Cargo Management)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Very good command of word processing, spreadsheets and databases (Microsoft Suite)
  • Strong HSSE mindset
  • Knowledge of Computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
