CNC Trainee
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic CNC Trainee to join our
Manufacturing team. This entry-level role provides hands-on training and
mentorship in CNC machining and programming, offering a strong foundation for
growth in the oil and gas manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train under experienced machinists and supervisors to learn CNC machine operations, programming, and machining processes.
- Assist with setup and operation of CNC machinery to manufacture drilling tools, components, and precision parts.
- Inspect workpieces for quality and specification compliance, making adjustments as needed.
- Support routine maintenance of CNC machines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and promptly report any safety concerns.
- Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and other team members to achieve production goals.
- Maintain accurate production records, inspection reports, and documentation.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes:
- Basic understanding of CNC machining principles and processes.
- Knowledge of oil and gas industry standards is an asset.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a passion for learning and growth.
- High attention to detail and precision.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) CSEC passes.
- Technical or vocational training in CNC machining is a plus.
