Operations Supervisor

Are you a results-driven Operations Leader with a proven track record in planning, coordinating, and optimizing daily operations within a machine shop, servicing, and rental environment? We’re seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, ensure equipment reliability through data-driven improvements, and uphold compliance with ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, 7-1, 5CT, and DS1 standards. If you hold a Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or a related field, bring 3+ years of hands-on oil and gas operations experience, are proficient in CMMS systems, and have a working knowledge or certification in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies, we’d love to hear from you!

 

Key Requirements:

  • MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATED FROM TRINIDAD TO GUYANA
  • Planning and overseeing the daily operations of the machine shop, servicing and rental departments.
  • This role involves planning, scheduling, and ensuring the maintenance of all operational equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • The Operations Supervisor will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all operational objectives are met, quality standards are maintained and customer satisfaction achieved.
  • Oversee the maintenance of all operational equipment, ensuring that preventive and corrective maintenance activities are performed on time.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop maintenance schedules and manage the timely repair of any equipment breakdowns.
  • Maintain records of equipment performance and maintenance history, using data to recommend improvements.
  • Knowledge of codes and standards relevant to ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, 7-1, 5CT, DS1 and all related codes and standards to the GES scope and license Requirements.
  • Experience in manufacturing/servicing of OCTG products and accessories.
  • Experience with the CMMS.
  • Experience in cost and feasibility analysis for job inputs

 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in operations management.
  • Working knowledge or certification in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in oil and gas operations.
