An Operations Supervisor II is a mid-level leader who manages daily operations in areas like manufacturing, logistics, or servicing. The “II” indicates a more experienced role than entry-level, often with broader responsibilities and oversight of other supervisors or teams.
Responsibilities
- • Oversee daily operations of the machine shop, servicing, and rental departments.
• Plan and schedule jobs, maintenance, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Lead cross-functional teams to meet production goals, quality standards, and customer expectations.
• Manage equipment maintenance schedules and repair activities.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate procurement to support operations.
• Supervise and mentor team members, conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, industry standards, and internal procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service to meet client needs.
Must Have
- • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in oil and gas operations.
• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge or certification preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, 7-1, 5CT, DS1 standards.
• Experience in OCTG product/service operations and CMMS.
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
