Are you a detail-oriented cost control professional with strong analytical skills and experience in SAP, EcoSys, and project financial reporting? We’re looking for a Project Cost Specialist to manage budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, invoicing, and cash flow reporting for assigned projects. If you hold a bachelor’s degree in Cost Management, Finance, or Engineering, are proficient in Excel, and thrive in delivering accurate, timely financial insights in a fast-paced environment—we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the efficient, timely, accurate and cost-effective management and delivery of the cost control activities within assigned projects
- Interface with budget owners to review budgets and commitments and challenge forecasts
- Prepare cost and financial input to the PMSR (Project Monthly Status Report)
- Analyse variances from As Sold to Current Estimate at Completion (EAC) by building a detailed monthly analysis of variances from prior forecast
- Establish and maintain project coding WBS/NWA structure in SAP and EcoSys
- Perform monthly accounting closing and post project cost accruals and unbilled Revenue in SAP and EcoSys
- Prepare and issue all project invoices and maintain invoice register updated. Prepare the Revenue Reconciliation monthly
- Prepare project cash flows in support of the Group's Treasury requirements for cash flow forecasting
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, process and procedures and strive for continual improvement and the application of best practice
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree qualified ideally in Cost Management, Finance or Engineering
- Experience in SAP and ideally EcoSys (or any other Project Cost Management software)
- Strong Excel knowledge
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical skills. Comfortable with numbers manipulation
- Ability to proactively look for and identify improvement solutions
- A high attention to detail and a fundamental desire for delivering the best possible product at all time, including the ability to deal efficiently with priorities and manage time appropriately
