Warehouse Clerk

Are you a hands-on and safety-conscious warehouse professional with experience in inventory handling and equipment operation? We’re looking for a Warehouse Clerk to conduct daily assessments of warehouse areas, verify and bin incoming materials, ensure proper preservation practices, and support Turnaround (TAR) material coordination. If you have at least three years of experience in a warehouse environment, are certified in defensive driving, spotter training, and forklift operations, and hold a valid Class IV or higher driver’s license, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily assessments of all warehouse areas (internal and external) for housekeeping, storage, and safety concerns.  
• Verify Incoming Items: Ensure all Purchase Orders (POs) passed to storage are ready for binning, verifying that physical items match the PO and delivery notes.             
• Binning Materials: Ensure materials are placed in their assigned storage locations (stock, non-stock, and consumables).                 
• Material Preservation: Ensure the preservation of materials according to preservation procedures and supplier documentation.             
• Assist in coordinating TAR materials by verifying quantities, conducting walk-downs, flagging insufficient levels, and transferring materials to allocated areas. 
• Assist with cleanup activities, other departmental projects, and inventory counts.             
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse
• Any other duties assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.              

Education Requirements:

• Minimum five (5) ’O’ Levels CXC/GCE/CSEC
• Minimum two (2) “A’ Levels or equivalent
• Three (3) years’ experience in a warehousing environment/similar role
• Training as evidenced by certification in Warehousing/ Inventory Management will be an asset.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Certified in Defensive Driving
• Certified in Spotter Training
• Trained and Certified for Operations in lifting equipment
• Possession of a Valid Driver’s License – Class IV and above.
