What does this mean? During offloading operations aboard the Emily Day McCall, Mr Christenpaul observed the lifting sling (stinger) had an exposed wire rope strand. This could have resulted in sling failure and possible serious injury to employees. He immediately notified the operations crew who instantly changed the stinger and maintained safe operations. His colleagues describe him as a very hard-working individual who always ensures safe vessel practices are followed during loading and offloading activities.
