Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry/pre-storing via Asycuda.

    ·       Classify items by verifying Harmonized codes (HS codes), identifying licensable items, and applying appropriate codes

    ·       Prepare and send out all customs related documents for client signature and tax approvals

    ·       Prepare export notifications.

    ·       Prepare and submit necessary licenses.

    ·       Prepare and submit re-export letters to the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) for approval.

    ·       Prepare and submit Pesticide and Toxic chemical Board (PTCCB) registration and other licensing requirements.

Must Have

  •      A minimum of two (1) years’ experience in Customer Service and Sales.

    ·       A minimum of One (2) year experience in Freight and Brokerage (Asycuda) will be an asset.

    ·        Proficiency using the Laser software system, MS Outlook, MS Words, MS Excel & formulas will be an asset.

    ·       Minimum of five (5) CXC subjects including Mathematics and English
