Senior Maintenance Engineer – E&I

 We’re looking for a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to lead maintenance planning, reliability engineering, outage/turnaround execution, and plant improvement projects in a complex process plant environment. If you hold a degree in Electrical or Electrical & Computer Engineering (or equivalent), have at least seven years’ experience in the petrochemical industry, and possess strong expertise in plant operations, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), PLCs, compressor controls, and reliability programs, along with a proven track record in troubleshooting, project management, and process safety — we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates and performs maintenance planning for routine works, projects, outages and turnarounds, including the preparation and review of work schedules, manpower, material requirement and cost estimates.
• Coordinates, develops and implements engineering solutions, as well as reliability and plant improvement projects.
•  Administers, coordinates and performs routine and turnaround contract administration and management, preparation of contractor usage plan, scope of works development, tender evaluation/analysis, procurement, execution and close-off.
•  Develops, coordinates and directs equipment preventative, condition monitoring and reliability engineering programs.
•  Coordinates and provides in-depth analysis, troubleshooting and diagnostic inspection of plant equipment.
•  Coordinates and performs troubleshooting, as well as provides expert technical support and engineering solutions development.
•  Directs, coordinates and participates in plant trip assessments, incident investigations and failure analyses to determine root cause and provides recommendations to prevent reoccurrence.
• Manages and directs the execution of turnaround/outage jobs for entire plant areas, to ensure that general HSE&Q schedule, cost, specification targets and overall department and Company objectives are met.

Education Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in a process plant environment.
• Extensive knowledge of process plant operations, electrical, design and project management in the petrochemical industry.
• Extensive knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Compressor Control Systems, Vibration Monitoring Systems etc.
• Extensive knowledge in Operational Technology and Cyber Security requirements.
• Strong technical knowledge of plant equipment and systems as well as performance history.
• Knowledge of Process Hazard Analysis Techniques.
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements.
• Proficient knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
• Working knowledge of procurement systems and work processes.
