The WH&Y and Logistics Specialist supports the operational flow of equipment and shipments at the Suriname onshore base. This includes managing warehouse and yard (WH&Y) operations, coordinating logistics, and working closely with remote teams to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods.
Responsibilities
- • Support receipt and dispatch of shipments
• Perform system transactions related to logistics activities
• Coordinate with NAO/Caribbean logistics teams for remote operational support
• Manage and control movement of equipment at the Suriname shore base
• Receive training and guidance from the Caribbean WH&Y team
• Maintain accurate inventory records and logistical documentation
• Be available for occasional overtime and weekend work as required by operations
Must Have
- • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or inventory management
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to learn and perform system transactions
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Willingness to work on-site in Paramaribo, Suriname
