An Associate
Logistics Specialist is an entry- to mid-level professional responsible for
supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of the movement,
distribution, and storage of goods, materials, and supplies within a company or
between companies and customers.
Responsibilities
- • Inventory Management: Tracking and managing stock levels to ensure accuracy and availability.
• Shipping & Receiving: Coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying delivery documents, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Data Entry & Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate records in logistics systems (like SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Supplier & Carrier Coordination: Communicating with vendors, freight carriers, and internal teams to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Problem Resolution: Addressing delays, damages, or discrepancies in shipments.
Must Have
- • Basic knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Two plus years of experience in similar field
