Cargo Technician

Georgetown, Guyana

Advise and participate in the execution of all marine related activities, including but not limited to offloading, supply boat operations, cargo handling, cargo and ballasting operations, crude oil washing, tank cleaning, and all associated maintenance of cargo and ballast equipment;

•Perform all loading operations at the installation in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the instructions of the Immediate Supervisor and guidelines of the Cargo Supervisor;

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for effectively controlling and maintaining all life-saving equipment on board;

    •Ensure that all operations related to the Navy are carried out according to the parameters established by regulatory authorities, MODEC's HSEQ-MS Policies and Procedures, MODEC'S Marine Operations Manual, IMO, ISM Code, Marpol, SOLAS and Work laws;

Must Have

  • • Nautical Officer STCW CoC (11/1)

    •ESOP (Advanced training for oil tanker cargo operations)

    •EBPQ (Basic oil and chemical tanker cargo) operations training

    •Experience with offloading operations

    •Mobility to rotation to Singapore
