A Forklift Operator is a professional who is responsible for moving goods around warehouses or other industrial sites.
Responsibilities
- Operating the Forklift Safely: Ensure safe and efficient operation of the forklift, following all company policies and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents.
• Loading and Unloading Goods: Move, stack, and retrieve goods or materials, loading and unloading trucks, pallets, or containers as needed.
• Inspecting Equipment: Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on the forklift (such as checking tire pressure, oil, and battery levels) to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Organizing Inventory: Arrange products or materials in storage areas, adhering to organizational standards to keep warehouses or facilities orderly.
• Documenting Activity: Maintain accurate records of inventory movement, logging goods or materials that are received, moved, or dispatched.
• Following Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety guidelines, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and handle materials with caution to avoid injuries.
• Assisting with Inventory Management: Work with other team members to keep track of stock levels, participate in stock counts, and report discrepancies
Must Have
- • High School Diploma or Equivalent
• . Experience in operating Equipment such as (Forklift, Side-Loader)
• Loading and offloading of CCU
• Experience in SAP
