Are you a driven and bilingual (Spanish & English) business development professional with proven experience in sales, client management, or logistics? We’re looking for an Independent Contractor to lead high-impact business development activities, conduct international client meetings, and collaborate cross-functionally to grow our global footprint. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled client meetings and business development activities to generate new opportunities.
- Attend and actively participate in at least one (1) scheduled weekly meetings with VP Customer Experience.
- Submit written proposals for business development activities, including projected spending and expected ROI, at least four (4) weeks in advance for approval.
- Follow up on invoices and payments to ensure commission-based compensation is processed timely.
- Collaborate with Country Managers to align strategies and ensure business development initiatives are executed effectively.
- Leading projects on possible business ideas to final products.
- Travel internationally for client meetings and industry-related events as required.
- Organize and participate in industry events, conferences, trade shows, and trade missions.
- Collaborating with different departments to address problems and come up with solutions to further grow business development.
Education Requirements:
- Must be fluently bilingual (Spanish and English)
- BSc/BA/Associate Degree/Diploma in Sales will be an asset.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or client management within the logistics or related industries.
- Strong networking skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently and proactively drives initiatives.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple business development activities.
- Availability for travel, including international business trips as required.
- Commitment to confidentiality and exclusivity while contracted.
