Responsibilities

  • Routinely liaise with Operations Supervisor to execute day-to-day activities efficiently, effectively and professionally.
  • Deliver training in compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.
  • Safeguard the health, safety and welfare of all parties during training activities by ensuring everyone follows RON’s Safe Systems of Work.
  • Maintain the Quality Assurance system (documents and records) relevant to job function and ensure the same is done by members of the training team.
  • Where relevant, assist in the training and development of staff; and to undertake additional/ongoing training/assessments as directed by Company, to ensure necessary competencies are maintained.
  • Take personal ownership of upholding one’s competence levels.
  • Contribute to the review/design and development of current and new courses.
  • When required, ensure a high operational readiness of all equipment is sustained, including conduction of appropriate safety checks and maintenance.
  • Contribute to a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness throughout the entire establishment.
  • Participate in Operations Meetings.
  • Handle all other duties as may be assigned by the Country Manager and the Managing Director from time to time.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
  • Ensure all activities are concluded in compliance with Group and Company HSEQ requirements

Must Have

  • Proficiency in swimming.
  • Recognized SCUBA certification.
  • Lifesaving or water safety certification.
  • Internationally recognized HSEQ qualifications.
  • Technical qualifications in Lifting Operations, Construction, Firefighting, Maritime or Aviation
  • Experience in lecturing or teaching.
  • Previous role/s in Health Safety and Environmental or Quality.
  • Previous role/s in Lifting Operations, Construction, Firefighting, Maritime or Aviation.
