Responsibilities

  • • Assist in developing and implementing sustainability initiatives aligned with company goals.
    • Track and analyze project progress, providing reports on impact and outcomes.
    • Research sustainability best practices to enhance project effectiveness.
                 Collect, organize, and analyze data from sustainability projects to track progress and impact.
    • Gather data on potential new initiatives for decision-making.
                  Collaborate with teams to monitor environmental and social outcomes, ensuring   KPIs are met.
    • Gather community and stakeholder feedback to improve sustainability initiatives.
                  Assist in preparing internal and external sustainability reports, including ESG         performance metrics.
    • Ensure compliance with sustainability-related regulations and standards.
    • Work with various departments to integrate sustainability into operations and long-term planning.
    • Support sustainability awareness campaigns and training sessions for employee engagement.

Must Have

  • • Currently enrolled (3rd or 4th year) in a recognized tertiary institution (e.g., University, Business School) for a degree program (minimum bachelor's level).
    • Potential to be absorbed as a full-time employee at SBM with ability to work standard hours in the future.
    • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
    • Able to interact effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and beliefs.
    • Strong presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
    • Knowledge of sustainability frameworks (e.g., CSRD, GRI, CDP) and environmental regulations is a plus.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for data tracking and reporting.
