The Logistics Officer ensures timely and compliant delivery of equipment and services, meeting budget, quantity, quality, and schedule requirements. They monitor progress, address issues, and recommend solutions throughout the order process. This role collaborates with offshore vessels, shore bases, and vendors to strengthen partnerships and ensure alignment with company goals and regulations.

Responsibilities
- • Responsible for coordinating with third parties (e.g., agencies, freight forwarders, customs) for expediting, inspection, logistics, and material control.
• Implement strategies and plans for these activities and handle purchasing tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Ensure vendors and third parties have necessary information (e.g., Quality Control Plan, shipping requirements).
• Verify deliverables and monitor third-party performance.
• Follow up to obtain accurate information and take action when required.
• Provide timely updates to decision-makers and ensure data is current in supply chain systems.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure recovery plans are implemented.
• Ensure compliance with local customs and transport regulations and liaise with the authorities when needed.
• Review and approve invoices from freight forwarders and customs brokers
• Performs other related duties as assigned
Must Have
- • BSc. or equivalent in Material Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of Three (3) Years proven experience working in a similar role (Cargo Management)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Very good command of word processing, spreadsheets and databases (Microsoft Suite)
• Knowledge of Computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
