The Operations Specialist is responsible for leading the overall operational functions including recruitment, crew changes, personnel logistics, employee assignments and re-assignments, employee grievances, interfacing with the employees and clients at site visits and crew changes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate crew changes with Vessel Captains, Rig Managers, and clients.
Manage all logistics for offshore personnel, including transport and accommodation. - Communicate schedules and updates to offshore employees.
- Maintain training compliance records and employee e‑files; submit certificates to clients as needed.
- Update and manage the offshore talent pool for Trinidad, Suriname, and Guyana.
- Screen applications, schedule interviews, and support recruitment for Drilling and Catering roles.
- Conduct employee check-ins and site visits to address concerns and distribute PPE.
- Ensure all personnel files contain updated contracts and onboarding documents.
Must Have
- Undergraduate Degree or similar qualification in Human Resources or any related field.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a senior role within human resources management
- Demonstrated success as an Operation Specialist/ Generalist supporting employee groups in multiple locations within the region or global environment required.

- Ability to work, manage, and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume environment and on deadline; aptitude for problem solving and decision making needed.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills required.
