Operations Specialist

Cunupia, Trinidad and Tobago

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced HR professional to manage end-to-end crew change logistics, employee engagement, training compliance, recruitment, and offshore support. If you have a degree in Human Resources or a related field, at least five years’ experience in a senior HR role, advanced Microsoft Office skills, and a proven track record supporting regional or global teams, we want to hear from you!

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with Vessel Captains/ Rig Managers and clients regarding crew changes’ time and location.
  • Oversee and coordinate all crew changes for all offshore employees.
  • Oversee and coordinate transport and accommodation arrangements for all offshore employees to and from the vessel/ rig.
  • Liaise with employees bi-monthly and record and manage any concerns or grievances.
  • Maintain a training compliance matrix and e-files for all offshore employees.
  • Send training certificates when required to clients for all offshore employees.
  • Update and maintain talent pool for offshore employees in Trinidad, Suriname and Guyana
  • Ensure all employee personnel files are updated with contracts of employment and supporting onboarding documents/ certificates.
  • Communicate with all offshore employees to update them on crew change times, transport arrangements and any other relevant updates.
  • Check EDO recruitment e-mail daily and screen and categorize applications by position for Drilling and Catering crews for offshore rigs/ vessels.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews for recruitment.
  • Conduct site visits to all client locations to meet with employees to record and address grievances and distribute PPE when required.

 

Education Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Degree or similar qualification in Human Resources or any related field
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a senior role within human resources management
  • Demonstrated success as an HR generalist supporting employee groups in multiple locations within the region or global environment required.

Must Have
