Are you a seasoned Quality Assurance professional with a strong background in inspections, auditing, and API/ISO standards within the oil and gas manufacturing environment? We're looking for a driven QA/QC Leader to oversee quality systems in compliance with ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, 5B, and 7-2, implement CMMS solutions, and lead corrective/preventive initiatives across operations. If you hold a B.Sc. in Engineering, possess formal training in relevant standards, and have at least 8 years of technical experience—3 of which are in a management role—with proven skills in root cause analysis, threading processes, and team coaching, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Relevant experience in quality inspections, auditing, and testing.
- Knowledge of codes and standards relevant to ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, 7-2, 5-B, DS1 and all related codes and standards to the GES scope and license Requirements.
- Experience and Knowledge in API Spec Q1 Latest Edition Practitioner
- Experience in Implementing and using CMMS
- Certified in Train the Trainer
- Ample experience in implementing corrective/preventive measures.
- Quality Assurance knowledge of tools and methodologies.
- Sound knowledge of threading and special processes within a manufacturing environment for the oil and gas industry.
- Good Analytical, organizational, problem solving and time management skills.
- Excellent coaching skills.
- Proven ability and skills to conduct root cause analysis and incident investigations.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and demands.
- Ability to lead and coach a team of QA/QC professionals.
- Proven ability to create and sustain effective working relationships in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate and articulate ideas and information clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
- Strong technical skills with PC/Software/CMMS based systems & technical writing.
- Ability to Interacts with all staff at all levels.
- Liaises with relevant statutory bodies, license representatives, training suppliers, consultants, vendors etc.
Education Requirements:
- B.Sc. Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Formal training with ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, 5B, 7-2.
- At least 8 years in the technical environment with exposure to Quality Assurance, process operations with at least 3 years in a management portfolio.
- Quality
Assurance certification e.g., CQE may be considered and asset.
