As a Utility Hand on the Rig, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining cleanliness and organization across various areas, including the floors, laundry, and scullery. Your responsibilities encompass general housekeeping, waste management, and providing support to uphold a safe and efficient working environment. 

Responsibilities

Housekeeping and Cleanliness: Perform general cleaning tasks in common areas and workspaces to maintain a clean and organized environment on the rig. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and other surfaces as necessary. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.

Laundry Operations: Collect, sort, and process crew members' laundry items, ensuring efficient and timely laundry services. Operate laundry equipment, including washing machines and dryers, in accordance with established guidelines. Ensure that laundry is properly cleaned and neatly folded or hung for crew members.

Dishwashing and Cleaning: Operate dishwashing equipment and perform manual dishwashing tasks as required. Ensure the efficient and timely cleaning of kitchenware, utensils, and dishes. Maintain a clean and organized scullery area.




Requirements

Previous experience in housekeeping, maintenance, or a similar role is preferred.
Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Awareness of safety practices and regulations.
Adaptability to changing schedules and tasks on the rig.
Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET)
Floor Maintenance and Safety Training
Rig-Specific Training as per clients’ requests.
Offshore Medical Examination.
