Ideally, suitable applicants should have experience working within a similar position. Their responsibilities would include cleaning and painting of equipment, cleaning up drill sites and equipment, transporting and storing of work materials, installation of equipment, and maintenance of drilling and extraction tools.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical or vocational training in drilling operations is an advantage.
• Offshore certifications, including Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET), are required.
• Previous experience as a floorman or in a similar role on an offshore rig is preferred.
• Strong physical fitness and the ability to work in physically demanding and challenging offshore conditions.
• Knowledge of drilling equipment and machinery.
• Understanding of safety regulations and procedures in an offshore drilling environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Rigger/Slinger Training
• STCW Fire Fighting - Basic (BFF) Course Certificate
• Offshore Medical Certificate
