We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Information Management Technician to join our dynamic team. As an Information Management Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient handling and processing of electronic and paper documentation. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks related to information management procedures, data quality checks, and compliance with global systems.

Key Tasks, Responsibilities & Accountabilities

▪ Receive, catalogue, organize and process electronic and paper documentation – data quality check, register in Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and issue to comply with information management procedures

▪ Create/advise on taxonomy and metadata creation and maintenance

▪ Support Operations team in day-to-day data management and reporting needs including searching, accessing, and using documents in the EDMS and controlled paper sets

▪ Carry out user acceptance, proof-of-concept and related testing on global systems and applications, as well as testing of proposed changes to existing systems (typically IT led)

▪ Provide system administration for tools utilized in the Information Management team, including liaison with IT on failure analysis and ticket management, providing access to users and management of libraries

▪ Support audit, discovery, litigation and assessment activities

▪ Provide guidance on information-related controls in areas such as Management and Protection of Information, Records Management Guidelines, Operations Integrity Management System, Controls Integrity Management System, copyright and corporate separateness

▪ Participate in global user groups for applications and systems supporting Information Management

▪ Provide technical support and hands-on training in the use of EDMS components as well as DocuSign, Microsoft Office and related tools

▪ Support Information Management Team as required with Ad Hoc Requests and Projects

Experience, Knowledge, Skill Set and Competency Requirements

▪ Diploma in Information Management, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

▪ Experience in metadata management and use of Microsoft Office applications

▪ Excellent organizational, planning and communication skills

▪ Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

▪ Experience working with EDMS (e.g. SharePoint) and data analysis tools is an asset
