Administrative Assistant I

Georgetown, Guyana

The Administrative Assistant I is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation and smooth running of the office and the timely delivery of the objectives of the office executives. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for confidential and time sensitive material and will be expected to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.


·       Provide effective administrative support to ensure efficient running of the office operations.

·       Maintain physical and digital filing system including ensuring adequate and easily accessible storage.

·       Answer phone calls, takes, and delivers messages and directs callers to appropriate personnel, schedules appointments, signs for incoming packages and provide general support for clients and other visitors.

·       Typing, filing, answering phones, scheduling, calendaring,

·       Record keeping, coordinating meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies and/or sorting/distributing mail.

·       May work on special projects to include recording, compiling, retrieving, reporting and analysing information. 


 ·       Bachelors Degree in Business Administration

·       Must be able to multi-task and prioritize.

·       Strong communication skills and organizational skills are required.

·       Proficiency with MS Office required.

·        Position will receive direction and support.
