HR-IR Manager

The HR -IR Manager - plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth and harmonious employee relations while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations. The primary purpose of this role is to maintain a positive work environment and promote fair and equitable treatment of employees within the organization. Additionally, the HR - IR Manager is tasked with overseeing local content compliance initiatives to enhance the organization's impact and contribution to the local community and economy.

Responsibilities

Must have knowledge and be able to execute the following:

·       Industrial Relations Management.

·       HR Policy Development and Implementation.

·       Local Content Compliance.

·       Client Relationship Management.

·       Internal Talent Acquisition and Management.

·       Employee Development and Training.

·       Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Compliance.

·       Workforce Planning and Succession Planning.

·       HR Metrics and Reporting.

·       Employee Engagement and Retention.

·       Change Management and Organizational Development.

Must Have

·       Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

·       Extensive experience (3+ years) in HR management, with a focus on industrial relations and local content compliance, preferably in the Energy Sector or similar environment.

·       In-depth knowledge of local labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.

·       Solution-oriented mindset, with a proactive approach to addressing HR challenges and implementing effective solutions.

·       Extremely responsive and knowledgeable about HR practices, labor laws, and managing grievances and disciplinary matters in Guyana.

·       Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.

·       Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex HR issues and propose viable solutions.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
