The HSSE Officer plays a critical role in promoting and maintaining a safe and secure work environment for employees, contractors, and visitors within an organization. They are responsible for implementing health, safety, security, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate risks.
Responsibilities:

Developing,
implementing, and maintaining health, safety, security, and environmental
management systems (HSSEMS) to promote a culture of safety and compliance
within the organization.
· Conducting regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions.
· Providing guidance and support to managers, supervisors, and employees on HSSE policies, procedures, and best practices.
· Investigating incidents, accidents, near misses, and hazardous conditions to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
· Coordinating emergency response and crisis management activities, including drills, training, and communication plans.
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
· Professional certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
· Previous experience in HSSE management, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or construction sectors.
· Knowledge of relevant HSSE regulations, standards, and best practices, including ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001, and environmental management systems (ISO 14001).
· Proficiency in computer applications, data analysis tools, and presentation software to compile and communicate HSSE-related information effectively.
