Our client in Energy sector is looking for a GP Operator/ Able Seaman. The successful applicant will perform effective dismantle and reassemble Instrumentation equipment and radio communication .
Responsibilities
· Proven experience and/or qualified to N/SVQ/HNC/HND in Instrument Engineering or local equivalent.
· 3 yrs experience desired with offshore experience preferred.
· Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities.
· Good experience of Permit to Work, Instrument/Mechanical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment.
· COMP ex E’X’ course preferred.
Must Have
· Over 2 years of experience in a deck capacity in the offshore or shipping industries.
· Conscientious. Safe. Capable of assertive and positive communication and performance.
· Good level of teamwork and safety behaviour. Sufficient ability in written and spoken communication in
· English language to enable safe work handovers and emergency response.
· Appropriate standard of technical, legal and professional knowledge as defined by competencies.
