 The role of a Procurement Analyst is critical within the supply chain management team. This professional is responsible for facilitating the procurement process to ensure that all required items are acquired efficiently, cost-effectively, and in a timely manner. The primary duties involve working closely with vendors, inventory management, and supervising the packing process to ensure the integrity of goods being received and loaded for delivery to meet the Rig Management expectations. He/she plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and equipment necessary for rig operations. Their ability to manage vendors, optimize costs, and maintain product quality is instrumental in the overall success of the supply chain and the organization as a whole.

The successful candidate must possess the following:

  • · Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • · Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the oil and gas industry.

  • · Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.

  • · Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • · Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.

  • · Knowledge of supply chain management principles.

  • · Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • · Effective communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders.

  • · Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
